Welcome to The Ruby Standard Wiki

The draft Ruby ISO standard is publicly available in PDF format only. This site exists to provide the Ruby Draft ISO Standard in a more accessible form. This site is not affiliated in any way with the ISO or IPA. It is a service provided to the Ruby community for the purpose of better understanding the developing Ruby standard.

How you can help

In order to provide a more accessible standard, we need help breaking the raw text of the standard into styled and hyperlinked sections. Important note: according to the terms under which the draft standard is distributed, redistribution and excerpting are permitted, but modifications are not. So please limit your edits to breaking the text into sections and adding style and hyperlinks. Any commentary should be clearly separated from the text of the standard. See Ruby Standard Wiki:General disclaimer for more information.
